The College of Engineering and Computer Science (CoECS) at Arkansas State University (A-State), Jonesboro invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position of Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering beginning Fall 2023. We invite applications from individuals who will make significant contributions in the environmental engineering area. This position is a nine-month appointment, and the successful applicant will be responsible for teaching, research, and service. Example areas of research focus include water and wastewater treatment, water pollution, contaminate fate and transport, air pollution, and other possible areas such as bio-remediation, environmental health, and sustainable management of environmental systems. Potential collaboration with research efforts in transportation materials and infrastructure or industrial sustainability would be preferred.
