Structural Engineering Graduate Students Wanted
EWB-USA Engineers Without Borders (EWB-USA) and would like to recruit structural engineering graduate students with design experience to a schoolhouse project in Nicaragua. About EWB-USA EWB-USA is a nonprofit humanitarian organization established to support community-driven development programs worldwide through partnerships that design and implement sustainable engineering projects, while creating transformative experiences that enrich global perspectives and create responsible leaders. The Project Our project is currently in the design phase of a 1-story schoolhouse structure (a hybrid design using concrete masonry units and wooden frame) and is in great need of graduate-level students to help with the design calculations that need to be approved by EWB-USA before implementation of the project can begin.
