The US Department of Education (DOE) announced that the 2018 Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) competition opened today, May 16, 2018. The project dates are October 1, 2018, through March 31, 2020.  DDRA research projects may be any consecutive 6-12 months during that period.   The DDRA program provides opportunities to doctoral candidates to engage in full-time dissertation research abroad in modern foreign languages and area studies.  The program is particularly interested in funding “ A research project conducted in the field of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, education (comparative or international), international development, political science, public health, or economics.” (from https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2018/05/16/2018-10476/applications-for-new-awards-fulbright-hays-doctoral-dissertation-research-abroad-fellowship-program )   The campus deadline will be June ...

We are pleased to announce ETA’s 2017 ITRI-Rosenfeld Postdoctoral Fellowship opportunity is open for applications. The focus for FY17 is on applicants interested in water-energy technologies , and applicants are being directed to the CERC-WET website to identify a topic.  As in previous years, an ETA mentor continues to be required. The fellowship recipient will serve a 2-year term appointment, and fellowship funds will provide 75% of salary and benefits, as well as an allowance of up to $10,000 per year for research supplies and professional development activities.  The host PI will support the remaining 25% of salary through research project funds.
