Description:

Junior structural EIT (engineer in training) will join a team of senior engineers dedicated to mentoring. This role will provide support during the development, design and process of projects in K-12, commercial tenant improvement and medical equipment placements. The best candidate for this role will have long-term growth goals in structural engineering and is in pursuit of their PE license and desires a SE license after.


Typical duties:

- Perform design and/or engineering duties as directed by the project team leader

- Support the discipline team leader in the documentation process

- Support the development of building system concepts for projects

- Support material and product research for projects

- Attend project meetings when requested

- Perform other project-related tasks as assigned by the discipline team leader

- Perform other duties as delegated by the supervisor


Skills:

- structural design, revit, risa 3d, construction document


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited institution - ideal candidate will have a structural emphasis or track and education experience in buildings

- EIT required

- 2+ years in AEC industry highly preferred (open to new grads)

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible

- Preferred familiarity with RAM, RISA and CADD software - Revit required
