During the pandemic, interviewing took place almost exclusively online. As companies begin bringing employees back to the office and universities bring faculty and staff back to campus, interviews are now taking place online and in-person. Persuading someone that you are the right candidate for a job or internship is a skill that requires thought, practice and confidence. Learn techniques to enhance your storytelling abilities and communicate key contributions and skills. We'll cover best practices to master both online and in-person interviews. Attendees will leave with a strong understanding of how to prepare for and excel in these specific interview settings.

At this Ask Me Anything, we’ll be asking this question and many more of Beth Au, the Director of the California Community Colleges Registry and Katie Dixie, the Assistant Director of the UCLA Center for Education Innovation & Learning in the Sciences (CEILS) and one of the Program Coordinators for the Southern California Regional Collaborative and Aspire Internship Programs. Beth and Katie will share their insights and offer tips to help you prepare for the community college job market.
