Work at the UCLA Graduate Writing Center--Apply by August 5th
We are looking to hire writing consultants from across the disciplines to start in Fall 2021. We are very interested in graduate students who have experience with scientific writing and writing successful fellowship/grant applications for organizations such as Ford, NSF, NIH, Fulbright, or other major extramural funding agencies. Other types of writing experience are also relevant (see below).
Working at the Graduate Writing Center is a great professional development opportunity for students working toward careers in academia or industry. This work provides a unique opportunity to work with other graduate students and to learn about writing and scholarship across the university. Our consultants gain valuable professional and communication skills working with fellow graduate students while making $22.50/hour.
Qualifications and eligibility are described in further detail below. Please read them before applying. This work can be combined with other UCLA employment (such as TA, GSR positions).
To apply, please email a CV, cover letter, and interview availability (see below) to: Marilyn Gray at gwcc@saonet.ucla.edu
Applications are due by Thursday, August 5th at noon.
