The California Department of Transportation, Office of Business and Economic Opportunity is hiring a Staff Services Manager (SSM) I. Under general direction of a Staff Services Manager (SSM) II, the SSM I supervises, plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Training and Outreach Branch (TO). The incumbent is responsible for ensuring State and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) regulation requirements are met for Small Business (SB), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) programs and for managing outreach requirements set forth by Senate Bills 1 and 103. Travel is required.
