AWiSE Stem Day - May 3
AWiSE is a group started by graduate students that seeks to increase female representation in STEM. They are hosting a Stem Day on Friday, May 3rd, and over 100 middle school girls are expected to come! However, they are still looking for activity booths for the 9:45-11:45am and the 12:30-1:30pm shifts.
If you have a group of people you'd like to host a booth with, go ahead and sign up together. For those of you volunteering individually, there are now three AWiSE booths (9:45-11:45am Optical Illusions, 9:45-11:45am Catching Bubbles,12:30-1:30pm Optical Illusions) where you can volunteer alongside other AWiSE members without having to organize your own group or activity.
Please make sure to include your email and t-shirt size when signing up for these booths so that you can be contacted individually!
