Sustainable LA Grand Challenge Water Research Symposium 5/23

We would like to cordially invite you to the Sustainable LA Grand Challenge Water Research Symposium. It focuses on the challenges and opportunities of water self-sufficiency in LA County and will take place on May 23, 2019 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on the UCLA campus in the School of Law, Room 1347.

This symposium will highlight the work the Sustainable LA Grand Challenge has funded, as well as other related research from on and off campus, with the aim of creating dialogue between researchers, practitioners, and policy makers. There will be panel presentations with time for dialogue between the presenters and the audience to discuss the research and identify areas of collaboration and need for further investigation in order to transition Los Angeles County to 100% local water by 2050.
