Internship Opportunity at Suez
Suez is seeking an Engineering Intern to carry out these responsibilities:

- Routine field data collection and sampling of influent/effluent water at 3 different sites
- Daily rounds, monitoring, and operation of pilot-scale test equipment
- Identification of underperforming plant elements negatively affecting influent
- Data entry and evaluation for process monitoring and control
- Preparation and reporting of plant operational data
- Completion of other assignments as directed by engineering staff
Requirements:
- Work at least 16 hours per week beginning Winter Quarter
- Knowledge of the principals, practices, and operation of water and/or wastewater treatment processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects while managing several tasks
- Comfortable performing analyses and data collection in an industrial facility
- Provide own transportation to and from satellite facilities (CA driver’s license and vehicle)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective communication with a broad range of people
- Ability to operate and manage manual and computerized information systems
- Sophomore / Junior majoring in Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Valid CA driver’s license
