SEAOSC is seeking potential members for upcoming Safer Cities Task Groups
SEAOSC is seeking potential members for upcoming Safer Cities Task Groups (SCTGs) and we need you!
These task groups review and provide comments on draft ordinances and policies upon request of a jurisdiction. The SEAOSC Safer Cities Advisory Subcommittee (SCAS) will
select participants for a given SCTG based on applicable experience of
those members related to the draft ordinance or policy being reviewed.
We are especially looking for members with applicable experience
and an interest and passion in retrofitting wood frame soft story
buildings, nonductile concrete buildings, unreinforced masonry
buildings, and buildings with pre-Northridge Earthquake steel moment
frame connections. If you wish to be considered for a future Task
Group, please send an email explaining building types of interest to
you and relevant qualifications and experience to seaosc@seaosc.org. For more information on the SEAOSC Safer Cities program visit SEAOSC's Safer Cities Advisory Program webpage.
