CLASSIFICATION: Research & Development Field Intern - Anaheim
(20-25 hours per week)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a part-time internship position assisting Research & Development Scientists in performing various projects dealing with groundwater recharge. Responsibilities include both laboratory (routine physicochemical analyses) and field work (sample acquisition).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be currently enrolled full time in an accredited Bachelor or graduate program (must have at least one year remaining in school) with emphasis in physical or life sciences, environment studies, and/or related fields. Must have a basic science background, PC computer literacy, to include Microsoft Office suite, good organizational skills and the ability to follow directions. A valid California state driver’s license is required. Must be physically able to lift up to 35lbs, work in the field and board water craft.
Hourly Rate: $13.00 per hour
