Position Summary: Design of earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, remedial grading, landslide mitigation, development of plans and specifications, foundation design, settlement analyses, liquefaction analyses seismic evaluation. Development of geotechnical recommendations for construction for private and public projects. Field work includes exploratory logging, observation of pier and pile installation, and observation of grading operations. On a project specific, multi-disciplined basis, perform well-defined field, analytical, and project administrative responsibilities under close, regular direction from project management. May be assigned increasingly more complex, non-routine tasks with review and oversight from project management.
