Become a UCLA Common Book Ambassador

You are cordially invited to participate in UCLA?s Common Book Program http://www.firstyearexperience.ucla.edu/ucla-common-book by reading this year's Common Book and participating in a discussion with our
first-year students.

This year, we will offer two types of Common Book discussions: one for commuter students on Sunday, 9/18 on main campus (at 6:00 p.m.) and the other for residential students on Wednesday, 9/21 on the Hill (at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.). Feel free to choose whichever discussion date(s)/time(s) best suits your schedule.

Ambassadors will be given a complimentary copy of Between the World and Me to read before the discussions, along with dinner provided and a parking pass if needed for those who don?t already have a valid permit. In lieu of an on-site Ambassador Orientation, we will be emailing participants a packet of information to orient them on their roles as Ambassadors a week before the discussions.

To sign up to be a Common Book Ambassador, please fill out the form here<http://www.firstyearexperience.ucla.edu/Common-Book/Ambassador-Signup> by Monday, September 12th. For more information, please visit the Common Book<http://www.firstyearexperience.ucla.edu/ucla-common-book> website.
