Chemical Entanglements Blog: Call for Contributions
Throughout the 2016-2017 academic year, CSW will be hosting Chemical Entanglements<https://csw.ucla.edu/wp-admin/_wp_link_placeholder>, a research initiative that will culminate in a public symposium on May 5, 2017. This interdisciplinary initiative will convene feminist scholars, scientists and community based researchers, artists, documentarians, and policy makers to assess the gendered impacts of environmental toxins on human populations and reproductive justice. Background on the project is available here<https://csw.ucla.edu/cswresearch/chemical-entanglementsaims/>.
As part of this initiative, CSW is launching a Chemical Entanglements blog. We invite contributions from UCLA students, faculty, staff, and members of the community. We are open to a wide range of formats and topics, including but not limited to:
* interviews with scholars, activists, and clinicians
* reports on new research in the humanities, social sciences, and hard sciences that considers connections between gender and chemical exposure
* reviews or summaries of relevant resources (books, films, etc.)
* opinion pieces and essays
* autobiographical accounts on topics related to feminism, health, science, the environment, etc.
* reports on historical or contemporary incidents of gendered exposure
