Seeking undergraduate and graduate students majoring in civil engineering or construction management (or closely related fields) who share our values and passion for construction and want to work with us, a medium-sized, family-owned general contractor with over a century of experience in the SF Bay Area.
No intern positions currently available for Summer 2016, but will start accepting applications for Summer 2017 in January 2017. PE positions hired throughout the year when the need arises.
We have two offices, one in SF and the other in
Oakland. Interviews, internships and full-time regular employment
opportunities are through our offices, though interns and PEs often
spend the vast majority of their time out at one of our
jobsites. At this time the majority of our work is in SF, though we
have substantial work on the Peninsula and in the East Bay, with a
couple of jobs in the North Bay currently in preconstruction. We do not
perform work more than 100 miles from SF, and rarely
are we more than 50 miles from SF.

With about 100 office staff and 200 union field
staff, we specialize in multi-family residential (both market rate and
affordable), private schools, places of worship, and health care. Our
business model is based on working closely with
the owner and design team in preconstruction so that we maximize value
while minimizing costly changes and delays during construction. We are
dedicated to building on time, under budget, and to the complete
satisfaction of the owner. We are true builders,
often self-performing framing and concrete. At least half of our work
is for repeat clients.
