Civil and Environmental Engineering Department Outstanding Student Awards
Details: One award each: BS, MS, PhD
Student Instructions: If you are interested in being nominated for one of these awards please contact a faculty member to complete the nomination process. Faculty received an email from me outlining the nomination process.
Eligibility: CEE student with minimum GPA of 3.50 at time of nomination. Must be a Summer 2015, Fall 2015, Winter 2016, or Spring 2016 degree candidate. Student must display superior academic achievement and have made significant contributions to the Civil and Environmental Engineering department.
Process: Faculty must submit nomination letter with supporting documentation to BH 5732-A, Jesse’s mailbox in BH 5732, or via email to CEESAO@seas.ucla.edu.
Deadline: April 15, 2016
Supporting Materials to be Submitted with Nomination Letter: Nomination Form (http://www.cee.ucla.edu/wp-content/uploads/cee/Award-Nominaton-Form_2015-16.pdf), Student Resume/CV, additional supporting materials (papers, articles, etc.)
Award: Certificate and monetary award (amount TBD)

HSSEAS School-Wide Student Award Nominations

Student Instructions: To encourage the submission of strong nomination packets, please contact a faculty member to complete the nomination process.
Eligibility: Varies, see following website: http://www.seasoasa.ucla.edu/awards/
Process: Faculty are requested to submit nomination letter and supporting materials to BH 5732-A, Jesse’s mailbox in BH 5732, or via email to CEESAO@seas.ucla.edu . While documents may also be submitted directly to the Office of Academic of Student Affairs, we would prefer to first route the packet through the department to make sure the nomination packet is complete.
Deadline: April 15, 2016
