The Graduate Writing Center is pleased to offer another writing retreat for graduate students in the sciences who are in the process of writing their dissertations or master's theses.

The program will provide a quiet space to get away and focus on your writing. It will also offer workshops that address dissertation structure, writing strategies, and scientific writing issues.

Applications are due Thursday, August 13th, at 5pm. Space is limited.

SCHEDULE, August 18th – 21st (Tuesday – Friday):

Daily Schedule:*
9:00-9:30: Coffee and check in
9:30-12:00: Individual work
12:00-12:45: Lunch break
12:45-4:30: Workshops and individual work
4:30-5:00: Check out 

*Participants are expected to attend for the full time of the program, but it is OK to miss a few hours for lab meetings and other appointments. Workshops are optional.
