EID Day Call for Volunteers
The Graduate Students Association (GSA) and the Graduate Student Resource
Center (GSRC) will be hosting Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Graduate
Student Welcome Day (EID)
(http://gsrc.ucla.edu/orientation/eidwd.html) on Thursday,
September 17, 2015.
We are looking for CURRENT graduate students to help make these events
successful!
EID Day is a STUDENT-INITIATED and STUDENT-RUN day-long event that focuses
on issues impacting underrepresented graduate students. It is a day filled
with workshops, panels and community building. Incoming students have an
opportunity to meet their new classmates and get acclimated to UCLA.
Volunteers have the opportunity to meet the incoming students and be a part
of this very exciting event.
- Volunteer shifts fall between 10:00am and 7:30pm on Thursday,
September,
17, 2015.
- For those who want to take a more active role in ensuring the event is
a success we suggest joining the Planning Committee (planning committee
members will meet several times this summer).
- Meals and other perks will be available for volunteers.
