Civil and Environmental Engineering Department Outstanding Student Awards
Details: One award each: BS, MS, PhD
Student Instructions: If you are interested in being nominated for one of these awards please contact a faculty member to complete the nomination process.
Eligibility: CEE student with minimum GPA of 3.50 at time of nomination. Must be a Summer 2014, Fall 2014, Winter 2015, or Spring 2015 degree candidate. Student must display superior academic achievement and have made significant contributions to the Civil and Environmental Engineering department.
Process: Faculty must submit nomination form (all CEE faculty were emailed form) with supporting documentation to BH 5732-A, Jesse’s mailbox in BH 5732, or via email to CEESAO@seas.ucla.edu by April 17, 2015.
Documents to be submitted with nomination: Nomination form (all CEE faculty were emailed form), supporting letter from faculty, student resume or CV, any additional supporting documents. Jesse will add student transcript to the packet.
Award: Certificate and monetary award (amount TBD)

Process: Faculty are requested to submit nomination materials to BH 5732-A, Jesse’s mailbox in BH 5732, or via email to CEESAO@seas.ucla.edu by April 24, 2015. Documents may also be submitted directly to Alina Haas in the Office of Academic of Student Affairs, but we would prefer to first route the packet through the department.
Documents to be submitted with nomination: Nomination cover form (all CEE faculty were emailed form), 1-2 letters of support from faculty, student resume or CV, and additional supporting materials (papers, articles, etc.).
