Research Study Participation Opportunity

Are You A UCLA Student with a Disability? Share Your Experiences!

The Student Affairs Information and Research Office (SAIRO) is conducting interviews with UCLA students who identify as having a disability. The purpose of the study is to learn more about the experiences of students with disabilities at UCLA in order to provide programs and services that support their success. We would like to hear about your experiences at UCLA!

Who is eligible to participate? This study is open to UCLA undergraduate, graduate, and professional students living with a disability. Disabilities may include but are not limited to: Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, Psychological Disabilities, Autism Spectrum, Chronic Conditions, Temporary Disabilities, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Blind and Low Vision, and Mobility Disabilities. Eligible participants must be 18 years of age or older.

If you would like to participate in this research study, you will be asked to take a brief intake survey, after which you may be contacted to participate in an interview lasting approximately 75 minutes. The information you provide can potentially help UCLA administrators, staff, and faculty in improving the campus climate and support services for students with disabilities. You will also receive a $20 BruinCard credit for sharing your experiences!

You are not obligated to participate in this study. However, if this study applies to you and you would like to learn more about participation, please visit us at: www.sairo.ucla.edu/studyinfo
